Nurture your teen's passion for the marine world and allow them to dive right in, with this adventurous full-day program that includes swimming with sharks! Teens 12-16 years can be immersed in all things SHARK both in and out of the water as they discover with our Biologists the impressive features and vital roles of these apex predators... then snorkel with them in Australia's largest single aquarium!
Bookings are open to: participants aged 12-16, must be competent swimmers and of good general health. Exclusionary conditions apply, including epilepsy, asthma or heart conditions.
This program will run from from 8.45am – 3.00pm* .
Places are strictly limited, bookings are essential.
Bookings are non-refundable.
Please consider your date carefully. Any transfers or changes to a booking must be made at least 7 days prior to the booked experience. Any changes made within 1-7 days of the booked experience will incur a rescheduling fee. Cancellations or no-shows on the day will not be refunded or rebooked.

General:
Must arrive 10 minutes prior to start time for briefing and handover.
Participant to bring water bottle, hat and comfortable shoes.
Parent/guardian must read and provide signed copy of Waiver on arrival.
Once signed-in, children will not be permitted to depart from the program without a parent/guardian.
Parents are not required to stay for the program. However if they wish to watch their child Swim with Sharks they can purchase the discounted Spectator ticket as part of their booking.
In the event of inclement weather, the guided beach walk will be replaced by a guided glass bottom boat ride at AQWA. Participants will remain with a Guide at all times.
Minimum numbers must be met for program to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered al alternative date, program or refund.
*Approximate finish time is 3.00pm, dependant on number of participants on the day.
In-water:
Teens must be competent swimmers and of good general health to participate
Exclusions apply to those with asthma, epilepsy or heart conditions.
AQWA will provide snorkelling equipment and wetsuits
Teens to bring bathers, towel and warm clothes/jumper for post swim.
The in-water experience involves participants snorkelling across the surface of the aquarium with a qualified instructor. There is strictly no duck-diving, free swimming or touching/feeding of the animals.

Sea School is back with a splash! AQWA's pre-school program for ages 3 to 5 runs for 8 weeks and incorporates music, movement, crafts and close-up exploration of of your favourite creatures.
