Availability
Annual Membership Passes are available to purchase daily, either online or at the Reception gate.
Annual Memberships Passes purchased online will be sent direct to your email. Please check your junk/spam. If you do not receive purchase confirmation within 30 minutes, contact AQWA.
Your Annual Membership will be valid for 12 months from your first visit. Read more about your Pass usage guidelines, terms & conditions below (Need To Know).
Your Annual Membership Pass grants you all day entry. Arrive any time.
AQWA is open 7 days. The only day AQWA is closed is Christmas Day (December 25). Open on all other public holidays.
Need to Know
Pass Use & Activation
Annual Memberships are NON TRANSFERABLE and cannot be shared between multiple people.
Your 12 month membership is activated upon your first visit. At this time your photo/s will be taken and you will register the person/s included in the Annual Membership, before receiving your Membership Pass.
Photo ID will be required when using the Membership Pass. Only the person/s registered can use the Membership Pass.
Keep your Membership Pass on you during your visits and do not share it with others.
Cancellations / Refunds
Annual Memberships are NON REFUNDABLE, including eGift Voucher/Gift Certificate purchases.
Annual Memberships cannot be cancelled or discontinued, and no credits will be given irrespective of visits used or unused.
eGifts Vouchers / Gift Certificates
eGift Vouchers are purchased online and no physical item will be sent.
Gift Certificates are purchased at Reception only and we provide a physical certificate to gift your recipient.
eGift Vouchers/Gift Certificates are both valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
eGift Vouchers/Gift Certificates can both be redeemed at Reception, where upon staff will complete your registration process.
If you have received a dollar-value AQWA eGift Voucher and wish to use it to purchase an Annual Membership, simply add your chosen Membership to cart using the BUY NOW button then add your voucher number at check-out.

Discounts apply to select events and programs only, and discount amounts may vary. No member discount will apply to Dine Beneath the Sea events.
A proportion of Annual Membership sales are donated to the AQWA Foundation. This proportion of sale is subject to change without notice.

AQWA’s Right to Cease A Membership
AQWA reserves the right to cease an Annual Membership should the Member breach the terms of their membership through:
- Transferring (sharing) their Pass to another person not registered to the Annual Membership. This includes to other persons in the same household.
- Using the Pass for commercial purposes. This includes Family Day Care operators who charge fees for their services.
- Breaching any of AQWA’s Terms & Conditions of Entry, including but limited to;
- antisocial behaviour, abusive language, misrepresenting oneself or one’s intentions, or any actions that threaten the safety and wellbeing of AQWA’s visitors, staff or animals.
