Requirements:

Participants must be aged 14+ years.

Those aged 14-18 years of age require a parent/guardian to co-sign their waiver, witnessed by an AQWA staff member on the day.

Participants must be in good general health (see exclusions below).

Must be a qualified SCUBA diver and be able to produce your PADI Open-Water (or equivalent) certification. If not a qualified SCUBA diver, please instead purchase a Snorkel with Sharks experience.

Participants must be capable of swimming, traversing stairs and managing their SCUBA Diving equipment independently (including BCD, tank, wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins).

Must have SCUBA dived in the last 12 months; alternatively have an extensive dive-log. There is no ‘instruction’ on how to use the SCUBA equipment.

This is a guided SCUBA dive and participants must follow the instruction of the Divemaster. You will be negatively buoyant throughout and there is no touching the animals.

It is the responsibility of the dive participant to bring along their dive ticket, towel, bathers and small waterproof camera (if desired). All other equipment is provided, however you can use your own SCUBA equipment if preferred.

Exclusions:

Participants must not suffer from epilepsy, asthma or heart conditions.

Not available to uncertified/self-trained divers – you must be able to produce a certification card/ticket

Not available for those under 14 years.

No swimwear/bathers or towels are provided.

Bookings do not include ‘priority entry’ to AQWA, so arrive with plenty of time before your booked experience starts.

Spectator limits per session may apply.

Experience eGift Vouchers & Gift Certificates:

eGift Vouchers or physical Gift Certificates for this Experience are strictly non-refundable for cash.

However, they can be transferred to another product or to a Gift Card equal to the same value of the original Experience purchase and will be valid for 3 years from the date of the original Experience purchase.

If you are unable or do not want to partake in the gifted Experience, please do not make a booking. Contact AQWA immediately and we will initiate a transfer, as outlined above and in our full Terms & Conditions.

Once a booking is made from a Gift Voucher/Certificate, it is bound by the below booking terms:

Booking Terms / Cancellations / Refunds:

Once a booking is made, it is non-refundable.

Bookings can be cancelled/rescheduled up to 7 days before the booked experience without penalty, by contacting AQWA.

Bookings cancelled/rescheduled within 7 days and up to 24 hours before the booked experience will be at AQWA’s discretion and may receive a re-booking fee (penalty).

Cancellations within 24 hours of the booked experience, missed sessions or “no-shows” on the day will NOT be refunded or rescheduled. In the instance of serious illness or injury, a medical certificate will be required.
