AQWA’s DANGERZONE!

AQWA has opened its newest display, the DANGERZONE, where visitors can safely see some of the deadliest and strangest marine creatures in the world!

Our oceans are full of animals that can sting, stab, bite or wrap their prey with suckered arms to immobilise or even kill!  Armed with poisons or teeth, these animals are deadly to their prey and occasionally even to us.

Visitors to AQWA can take a journey to discover how and why these creatures use their features for survival and defence.  Featuring interactive displays and some of the most dangerous animals in the world, the DANGERZONE is a fantastic new exhibit that may lead visitors to think twice before swimming in the ocean again!

The DANGERZONE will be open for a limited time and is the first in a series of feature exhibits that form part of AQWA’s journey around Western Australia’s 12,000km coastline.
